Pat is now home, safe and sound. So thank you all for praying; that really made a difference. Both of us sensed that for these nine weeks for me and twelve weeks for Pat, that this is what the Lord had for us.  Yes it was sometimes difficult and frustrating and (for Pat) almost overwhelming, but we made it. So thanks again.

My (Fenton) mother died this week. So we will be headed to New Zealand for a memorial service towards the end of October. As the weather here in Washington is often times “yukky” in November, we will probably take some extra time in NZ for some R & R in hopefully nicer weather.
